In my continuing effort to alter the course of my career, I continue to sell off a few assets that I’ll no longer be using. Among those is the domain name with the largest potential, www.anEditor.com which I never got (or took) time to develop. After all, for most of my freelance career www.the-freelance-editor.com pulled in all the traffic I could handle. I’ve recently changed the auction site for this domain name from GoDaddy.com to Flippa.com.

Editing Business for Sale!

As noted in my previous post, I am no longer able to follow my passion for freelance editing. Fortunately, that does not mean I’m leaving the industry; rather, I am taking my passion and talents in a different direction.

That news aside, as a result of closing this phase of my life, I am beginning to liquidate some of my assets. Among those are some “intellectual” assets that have become part of my business since the middle and late 1990s: the domain names that I’ve used as primary sites, specialty sites, and pointer pages. Following is a fairly complete list of the domain names that will be coming available.

A site that I never got around to developing but likely has the best potential for an editorial startup or expansion is www.anEditor.com. I did, however, start to use the accompanying blog site, www.anEditorsBlog.com.
